Beginnings and training in Spain (2011-2014)
Darío Brizuela emerged from the CB Easo de San Sebastián cantera, shining in the Spanish Junior Championship in 2011. The same year, he joined the cantera of CB Estudiantes, alternating between the EBA team (13 matches) and the ACB first team. In 2013/14, he played mainly in EBA, but also took part in 5 matches in Liga ACB.
Period with CB Peñas Huesca and return to Estudiantes (2014-2019)
In 2014, Darío Brizuela was loaned out to CB Peñas Huesca, where he had a remarkable season. He returns to Estudiantes for the final two rounds of the Liga ACB. In 2015-16, he stands out as the most valuable player of the day with 25 points, including a perfect 6 out of 6 from three-point range.
Unicaja de Málaga and transfer to FC Barcelona (2019-2023)
