The Brooklyn Nets are an NBA team based in New York State. They play in the Atlantic Division of the Eastern Conference. Prior to 2012, this organization was known as the New Jersey Nets. Jason Kidd and Vince Carter, among others, have played for them.

Cam Thomas came out of the shadows during the transfers of Kyrie Irving and Kevin Durant. Following the departures of the team’s two superstars and a limited roster, the young back got a lot more playing time and balls than usual. He took advantage of this to show off his skills and score a few cards. As a result, Cam Thomas racked up three consecutive games of 40+ points. That’s quite a performance for a 21-year-old player, who until now had been confined to a reserve role. Since losing their two former superstars, the Nets haven’t really had a star on their roster. Who owns the Nets?
Since September 2019, the Brooklyn Nets have been owned by Joseph Tsai. Taiwan-born and a Canadian citizen, Tsai is the co-founder of Chinese e-commerce giant Alibaba. He bought a 49% stake in the Nets in 2017. Then he acquired the remaining shares two years later, becoming the full owner.
