Origins
Zaccharie Risacher was born on April 8, 2005, in Malaga, Spain, where his father, Stéphane Risacher, was playing professional basketball. His sister, Aïnhoa, is also a promising young basketball player. Their mother is named Sandrine.
Career History
Zaccharie Risacher started playing basketball at Élan Chalon at age 3 and played there until 2011 before joining Téo Basket. He then played for Oullins Sainte-Foy, where he became one of the top scorers in the French U15 championship. The prestigious Asvel club soon recruited him for their training center. He quickly made an impression and was invited to practice with the pro team. At just 17, coach TJ Parker gave him opportunities to play in the first division. In February 2022, Zaccharie became the youngest French starter in an Euroleague game.
During the 2022-2023 season, Risacher became a regular part of Lyon-Villeurbanne’s professional rotation. Tony Parker announced plans to make him a key player for Asvel the following season. However, Zaccharie decided to leave the club and was loaned to JL Bourg-en-Bresse.
