High school career
Boston started out at Norcross High School in Georgia before moving to Sierra Canyon School in Los Angeles. He played alongside the sons of LeBron James and Dwyane Wade. At Norcross, he recorded 18.4 points and 5.4 rebounds per game.
He has been selected for the McDonald’s All-American Boys Game 2020 and the Jordan Brand Classic 2020. Considered a five-star recruit, Boston committed to Kentucky. He was ranked among the top prospects in his class.
College career
In his first game with Kentucky, Boston scored 15 points. He finished the season averaging 11.5 points and 4.5 rebounds. In March 2021, he declared his candidacy for the 2021 NBA draft.
Professional career
Drafted in the second round by the Grizzlies, Boston was traded to the Clippers. He was assigned to the Clippers’ G League affiliate, the Agua Caliente Clippers, now the Ontario Clippers. Boston was named MVP of the G League Showcase Cup in 2022.
