“My name is Macari Brooks and I am the starting guard for the San Salvador , El Salvador Giants ( LMB) . I am from the United States. Born and raised in Chicago Heights. Where im from is known for its violence activies, so it’s hard for most kids to grow up and I’m blessed to say I made it out by staying true to myself and my basketball career. I am 25 years old, this my first professional year in El Salvador Im loving the Journey, the people are supportive and loves sports . I have no choice but to love the situation.
Coming from a dangerous city Chicago Heights I learned to stay positive through all the hard times that I came across. I’m still learning On and off the court. Most importantly I’m learning how to become a better professional. Right now I am averaging 24 points 7 rebounds 3 assist. I am adopting very fast to the overseas basketball .
I was noticed at top 3 performance in this league , I got into the top 10 ppg twice in this league. I’m only gone grind harder from here on out because I see I have the potiental to play on a big time stage. I’m Going to continue to humble myself work hard and keep God first and my basketball career should be forever”
