Coming from Chicago, Illinois, american PG Fabyon Harris (5’11) signed last summer his first pro basketball contract overseas. Averaging 13.8 points, 1.3 rebound and 4.3 assists during 25 minutes on the court in average per game, he is a great actor of his team’s success, the only undefeated team in the competition. This is his first blog post on 3ptshot.com.
« My name is Fabyon Harris, I am the starting point guard for Souffelweyersheim (NM1) and I am from the United States. I am 25 years old, this my first professional year in France. I am enjoying the Journey, the people are very nice, my teammates also the coaches are very nice. We a family, I love them. Right now, we are 5-0, it feel good be 5-0 but it’s just the beginning of the year. We have a long season so we have a lot more games to play.
I am learning a lot, pro league in France is very different from NCAA or minor league in USA. This is true that I am adapting very well. I was very happy that I was honored in the best starting five of the championship during the second week (with 24 points, 3 rebounds and 3 assists), but my teammates help me get that by put me in positions to score the ball ».
