Juan Nunez joined Real Madrid’s youth team in 2015, after a formative period at Alcorcón Basket. Although called up to the first team in 2020, he did not play in the ACB Liga finals.
Professional debut and loan (2020-2022)
In June 2021, following injuries in the squad, Nunez made his official debut with Real Madrid’s first team in Liga ACB. His talent and mastery of the game were praised. He was loaned out to Estudiantes in 2021, where he enjoyed more playing time, honing his skills and impressing critics and fans alike.
