Whether in the NBA or in the championships overseas, groupies seems to be famous. A groupie is a venal girl, in search of glory and social climbing. They are ready to do anything to find themselves on the front of the stage and / or extract as much money as possible from the basketball players they charm. While some players say they have never met a groupie in all the cities where they played, others say the opposite.
« Groupies are everywhere. Anywhere there is talent, there are groupies », analyze one of them. « Does a dog have 4 legs? » ironically replied an other when asked if the groupies exist in Europe, before explaining how they manage to get in touch with the basketball players: « They find a way. Typically they know who you are before you even arrive ».
